As our manifesto did for the UK general election in 2015, the devolved nations manifestos recommend the changes that are needed to transform survival and quality of life for everyone affected by a brain tumour in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The manifestos, which are aimed at politicians and policy makers and have been tailored for each country, outline key changes to improve the experience of diagnosis, treatment and care for people affected.
The launch of the manifestos will take place at dedicated launch events in March – Brain Tumour Awareness Month – and we’re urging our supporters in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to encourage their local representatives to attend.
Invitations have been sent to Members of the Scottish Parliament for the manifesto launch event in Edinburgh on 2 March, Welsh Assembly Members for the event in Cardiff on 3 March and Northern Ireland Assembly Members for the event in Belfast on 15 March.
If you live in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland you can help us strengthen the impact of this by promoting the launch of the event and the importance of the changes needed to transform outcomes for all those affected by a brain tumour to your local representative.
