Research Impact Report
Our Research Impact Report highlights the progress of pioneering research we fund and its impact on improving the quality of life and survival rates for those diagnosed with a brain tumour.
In 2015, we launched our research strategy – A Cure Can’t Wait– in which we committed to improving outcomes for everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour.
We know the only way to do this is by funding only the very best, world-class research to help us reach our goal – to double the survival and halve the harm that brain tumours have.
We are proud to fund 48 revolutionary research projects, both here in the UK and around the world helping to do just that. And, as the UK’s largest, dedicated funder of research into brain tumours, we have a rigorous process in place before selecting what we fund. And we continue to review and monitor its impact throughout the funding stage – and beyond.
We are honoured to have so many committed supporters, some of whom are featured in this report. To know that their funds are helping to produce results that are having a direct impact on those affected, as evidenced in this report, is phenomenal, and something that we, and our researchers, do not take lightly.
Your support will continue to drive us forward to continually fund the best research across the globe, to keep reaching further to find a cure and to end this devastating disease.

Research is just one other way your regular gift can make a difference
Research is the only way we will discover kinder, more effective treatments and, ultimately, stamp out brain tumours – for good! However, brain tumours are complex and research in to them takes a great deal of time and money.
Across the UK, over 100,000 families are facing the overwhelming diagnosis of a brain tumour and it is only through the generosity of people like you can we continue to help them.
But, by setting up a regular gift – as little as £2 per month – you can ensure that families no longer face this destructive disease.
