Research Rising Star Award
We need your help to celebrate early career researchers who’ve made outstanding progress in the past 18 months!
Our Research Rising Star Award recognises outstanding early career researchers, who have already made great strides in research for brain tumours and have the potential to become leaders in the field.
Although the UK Research Councils and the Research Excellence Framework suggest precise guidelines for what defines an early career researcher (any researcher with a maximum of four years’ academic research experience following the completion of their PhD), we welcome nominations for researchers who are undertaking the first stages of their research careers as independent researchers but have more than four years’ academic research experience.
Nominees will be evaluated for their promise of excellence in research based on the following criteria:
- Publication record
- Significant discoveries, methodological innovations, or theoretical or empirical contributions to brain tumour research
- Potential impact of their work to date.
You can celebrate the progress made by a researcher whose work you admire or shout about the incredible impact you’ve made since beginning your career – but you’ll need to act fast as nominations close 4 December 2022.
