Connor’s story
Connor was a normal happy go-lucky 2 year old, full of life and always on the go.
In February of 2005 he was admitted to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital for an emergency MRI scan. His parents were told that he had a brain tumour and that, without immediate surgery, he would not survive a further seven days.
After the operation, Connor began to get better and everything looked positive. However, Connor’s tumour was very aggressive and the Doctors warned that he had very little time left. His parents decided to take him home and make his final few weeks as happy and normal as possible. He was fanatical about motorbikes, Noddy and Firemen so his parents spent time playing and even managed to get a real fireman to come and see him.
Sadly, Connor lost his very short battle on the 6 May 2005, only 11 weeks after the tumour was diagnosed.
