Vicky’s story

Vicky my beautiful wife and best friend passed away suddenly on the 17th March 2014 at home with our 2 dogs looking after her.

Vicky was just under 8 months pregnant at the time and was in great health with no signs of any brain tumour. We had just sold our house and on the day Vicky passed away we had just had an offer accepted on our dream home which I never got to tell her. She had just been promoted in work and was just planning on going on maternity leave at Easter. She was so happy and we had so much to look forward to.

Vicky has left a massive hole in many peoples lives as she was a person that would drop every thing to help you out. Over 300 people attended Vicky’s funeral which just goes to show the amount of lives Vicky touched.

We loved travelling together and visited over 15 different countries in the 9 years we were together. We even got married in Greece on the 25th June 2012 with over 50 family and friends attending.

“There is so much I could write about Vicky and what such a special person she was. I will always love her and miss her so much”

Vicky was born in Rochdale in October 1979 and was someone who took no messing about and told you straight to the point. She would never give up and always kept on trying till she got it right or got what she wanted. Vicky travelled most of Australia and New Zealand with friends and by herself after her older brother Michael Davies passed away from a brain tumour in 2000.
