Both the 5km and 10km routes will have the same start and finish location.
The 10km walkers will set off first followed by the 5km walkers.
There’ll be a front walker for both the 5km and 10km distances, plus a middle walker and a back walker, to help everyone follow the correct route – but it will also be signposted and have supporting marshals.
We recommend, if you are walking in a mixed distance group, that you all start together in the 5km group and then, at approx. 2.5km, the 5km group will loop back towards the finish line and the 10km group will continue on, before looping back through St James’s Park on the return route.
The return route for both groups is along the same route through Hyde Park. Why not wait for your teammates’ return at the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen, enjoy the stunning lake views and a well-earned treat before regrouping to walk back together?
-
Yes, of course! If you’d like to meet and walk with others, there’ll be a meeting point arranged where you can meet others before the walk starts.
