Our Involvement Champions
At The Charity our community are our priority and we would like to ensure that we are working in partnership with them in all we do. We’re here to accelerate a positive change in how people affected by brain tumours are diagnosed, supported and cured.
As part of that aim, we’ve created a new two-year role, providing the opportunity for our community to use their experiences of being affected by a brain tumour diagnosis to play an active role in helping to shape our work and support decision making across The Charity.
We’re looking for members of our community with personal experience of the effect of a brain tumour (either themselves or a loved one), who are collaborative and passionate about creating change and improving outcomes for everyone affected by a brain tumour.
Involvement Champions will represent the brain tumour community, using their own experiences of being affected by a brain tumour diagnosis to help shape our work, but also taking into account the issues and challenges that affect our wider community.
All activities will take place virtually so you can get involved wherever you live.
Current opportunities
Applications for our Involvement Champion role is currently closed. We recruited our 2023-25 cohort of Involvement Champions in July 2023 and therefore applications will re-open in 2025.
