The ride will be a true challenge for all abilities, cycling the steep and unforgiving terrain, whilst taking in some spectacular land marks.
Participants will join former England Rugby Captain Lewis Moody MBE, World Cup winner Josh Lewsey MBE, England and Lions rugby star Lee Mears, polar explorer and adventurer Alan Chambers MBE and Y.CO Directors.
In partnership with Y.CO, the challenger brand of the superyacht industry, headeast is aiming to raise £75,000 for The Lewis Moody Foundation through this epic challenge. The Foundation is committed to raising awareness of brain tumours in children through the award-winning HeadSmart early diagnosis campaign.
“Raising awareness of brain tumour symptoms will improve the outcomes for children,” said Lewis.
“It’s just shocking that brain tumours are the largest cause of preventable or treatable blindness in children and that over 560 young people and children each year will be diagnosed with a primary brain tumour.
“Being HeadSmart aware is vital to changing these statistics.”
